Marvin Lee Lutz, Jr., 81, of Upper Cleveland County, passed away Thursday,
March 15, 2012 at his home.
Born June 5, 1930 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Marvin L.
Lutz, Sr. and Amy Cansler Lutz. He had retired from CommScope, where he
served in many capacities including Manufacturing and Plant Manager, and was
a member of Kadesh United Methodist Church. Mr. Lutz served in the US Navy
during the Suez Crisis.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and
four sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Mull Lutz; two sons, Marvin Lee Lutz, III
and wife, Jacqueline of Glenview, IL and Thomas Luther Lutz and wife, Dana
of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Lydia and Jonathan Lutz of Glenview, IL
and Charlotte and Morgan Lee Lutz of Dallas, TX; and a brother, William Lutz
and wife, Betty of Belwood.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Sunday at Kadesh United Methodist Church
Funeral Service: 3:30 PM, Sunday at Kadesh United Methodist Church
Officiating: Revs. Ronald Watts and Rev. Patricia Chaput
Graveside service will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
Allan Barlow officiating.
