Patricia “Pat” Humphries Abernethy, 72, of Cliffside, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Services were held at Cliffside Baptist  Church. Burial followed at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. 

Mrs. Humphries was preceded in death by her parents, Lassie R. and Pauline Addington Humphries; one brother, Max E. Humphries and two nephew. 

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Abernethy of Shelby; two brothers, Ben Humphries of Cliffside and Charles (Red) Humphries of Cliffside.
