Rebecca Diane Green, 65, of Shelby Manor died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at
Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.
Born November 10, 1946 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Zeb William Green and Mozelle Lee Green. She was a member of Polkville
United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane
Floyd.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Benita and John O. Whisnant
of Polkville; three nieces, Terry Hubbard of Hollis, Pam Martin of Belmont
and Selina Demetro of Shelby; a nephew, Ritchie Floyd of Shelby; two great
nephews, Jeremy Martin of Belmont, Justin Hubbard of Hollis; great niece,
Julie Martin of Belmont; and cousin, Alice Floyd of Polkville
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Thursday at Polkville United Methodist Church.
The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the service
Officiating: Rev. Bill Lovelace and Rev. Ed Lee
