| Wendy Weaver Jamison, 40, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at home. A native of Cleveland County she was the daughter of Phil and Kathy Weaver. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Luther and Myrtle Hoyle. Wendy was a compassionate person who took care of everyone around her. She was a loving wife and mother and loved spending time with her family. She was a former nurse for the Cleveland County School system and mainly worked at Washington school. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church where she loved singing and working with the youth and children.
Along with her parents, Wendy is survived by her husband of 17 years Jamie Jamison; two sons, Alex and Phillip Jamison of the home; paternal grandparents, Charles and Sue Weaver of Shelby; sisters, Danielle Whitaker and husband Scott of Cherryville, Nichole Hamrick and husband Andy of Shelby; parents-in-law, James and Dianne Jamison of Shelby; grandmother-in-law, Betty Jo Mobley; brother and sister-in-law, Tim Jamison and wife Yolanda of Maiden and Donna and Michael Moore of Mooresboro; nieces and nephews, Daniel Whitaker, Hailey Hamrick, Eliza Hamrick, Anais Hamrick, Chad Moore, Anna Moore, Chris Moore, Jennifer Moore, Bradley Jamison, Jarrett Isaac; and extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday March 16, 2012 at Buffalo Baptist Church. The Rev. Max Turner, Jr. and the Rev. Sam Snyder will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30pm on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. At other times the family will be at the home of her parents at 109 Sunshine Lane, Cherryville, NC.
