25th Annual Flea Market Treasures Galore! Great Food!
It is time once again for the Council on Aging/Senior Center’s Annual Indoor Flea Market, which will be held at the Senior Center (100 T.R. Harris Drive, off of Fallston Rd) on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm.  There will be many bargains to be found plus those famous ham biscuits, which will be served both days.  Persons wishing to purchase bulk orders of ham biscuits (3+) should call Mary Hamrick at 704-482-3488 by Feb. 8th.  Don’t delay; place your order as soon as possible because those ham biscuits go fast.
Ham ($2.50), Livermush($2.00) and plain biscuits ($1.25) will be available for breakfast, lunch and dinner as long as the supply lasts.   Biscuit take-out orders may be made in advance, by calling Mary Hamrick, 704-482-3488.  Take this opportunity to treat your friends or employees to a special treat for an early Valentine celebration.  Biscuits may be picked up as early as 7:30 am if ordered in advance. Deadline to order ham biscuits is Feb. 8, 2012. Hot dogs will also be available for lunch both days; hot dog plates will include slaw, baked beans and potato chips.
Donations for the Flea Market are greatly appreciated by the Senior Center.  If you would like to make a donation, please call the Senior Center, 704-482-3488, in advance, so your donation can be properly documented and stored.  We are unable to accept clothing and shoes.  Please donate clothing and shoes to U.A. Thrift in the name of the Council on Aging/Senior Center.
Don’t forget the wonderful Flea Market Raffle.  The Senior Center will be raffling off a basket full of treasures valued at $100 as well as a homemade sweetheart cake during the Flea Market.  Tickets for both raffles will be $1.00.   Drawing for the raffles will take place at 3:00 pm on February 10th.  You do not have to be present to win.
