Alexander Ronald Mims, age 83, passed away Wednesday February 9, 2022 in Shelby, NC. Ron was a native of South Florida and was born November 24, 1938. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Lou Dykes Mathis.

Ron is survived by his wife Wanda Mims, daughters Shana Runge (Jim) and their son Jay of Lawndale, NC., Ronda Gamble and her daughters Lyndsay, and Larissa Gamble of New Jersey. Ron is also survived by his sisters, Ann Wright of Florida and Elaine Keefer (Ed) of Florida.
