POLKVILLE - Alfred Mitchell Smith, 75, native of Cleveland County, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at his home. He is predeceased by his father, Wallace Smith; four brothers, Allen, Eddie, Kenneth and Ray Smith.
Alfred leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Linda Smith of the home; daughter, Donna Luckadoo; granddaughters, Erica Smith (Caleb) and Tonya Hopper; great-grandson, Walker Smith; sister, Rachel Bowen; son-in-law, David Luckadoo, Jr.; special friend, Bertie Wells.
He was a member of Union Baptist Church. He worked in Textiles as a Loom Fixer. He loved NASCAR Racing, carp fishing and playing cards. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
No Services are planned at this time and will be announced at a later date.
