Alice "Faye" Norman, age 76, of Henrietta, NC, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born March 2, 1937 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Frank Greene and Ola White Greene, she worked in textiles most of her life and was a member of Chase Baptist Church. Faye loved volunteering her time at Yokefellow and enjoyed her pet cats.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joey Norman and two infant sons, Kenny and Scott Norman and a brother, Bobby Greene.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-nine years, Frank Norman; son, Tod Norman of Forest City; three sisters, Eloise Blanton, Carolyn Gosey and Bonita Ashe; sister-in-law, Kathryn Beam and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Scott Butler and Reverend Lanny J. Funchess officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
