Mrs. Alice Josephine Neal Bingham, 72, of 4603 Polkville Rd, Polkville, NC passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bingham was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Walter Jackson Bingham; her parents, Charles Odell Neal and Lonnie Mae Reynolds Neal; 3 brothers, Richard Neal, B.E. Neal and wife Francis, and Charles Neal; 4 brothers-in-law, Rev. Marshall Black, Joe Bingham, Harvey Bingham and Raeford Wright; 2 sisters, Eve Hallman and husband Clyde, and Magilene Boyles and husband Kemp; and 2 sisters-in-law, Christine Neal and Mabel Bingham.
She is survived by 1 son, Dr. Dennis Bingham and wife Vickie of Fallston; 2 daughters, Ritta Greene and husband Rickie of Polkville and Darlene King and husband David of Fallston; 2 brothers, Adam Neal, and Donald Neal and wife Evelyeen, all of Crouse; 1 sister, Charity Black of Crouse; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother-in-law, Rev. Henry Bingham and wife Kay of Fallston; 6 sisters-in-law, Wilma Neal of Hickory, Addie Wright, Ann Ramsaur, Shirlene Lewis and husband Thomas, Ellene Lineberger and husband Franklin, and Willie Bingham, all of Fallston; and a number of special friends, nieces and nephews.
