Alice "Nell" Jones Goforth, 86, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, September 28, 2017 at White Oak Manor. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Alma Huntley Jones. She was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lisa Morrison and husband Kenny of Rutherfordton; granddaughter, Julianne Zachrich and husband David of Lake Lure; two great granddaughters, Kinley and Brielle Zachrich of Lake Lure; one niece and three nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dwight L. Goforth and brother Norman Jones.

Graveside services will be held 2PM Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Adaville Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Jonathon Cobb officiating.
