Allen Clyde Bramlett, 88, of 302 Phillips Drive, Forest City, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Willow Ridge Nursing Center in Rutherfordton.
Mr. Bramlett was born in Cherokee County, SC, on July 23, 1925 to the late Allen Carl Bramlett and Annie Phillips Bramlett. He retired from the trucking industry after working for Carolina Freight, Johnson Freight and
Yellow Freight as a dock worker. He was also a member of the Shelby Masonic Lodge Number 744. Mr. Bramlett also served in the US Navy.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Macie Grigg Bramlett.
He is survived by his son Danny Bramlett of Forest City; two sisters Cheryl Sisk and Thelma Liles both of Shelby; nine grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Sunset Cemetery at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 4, 2013. With Masonic graveside rites.
