Mr. Marion Andre Sipe, 75, of 617 Elam Road, Lawndale, NC passed away Monday, October 18, 2010. Services were held at Ascension Lutheran Church. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park. 

Mr. Sipe served our country in the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Paul Sipe and Mary Florence Sipe; 1 brother, William Paul Sipe, Jr.; and 1 sister, Frances Mullins.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Philbeck Sipe; 2 sons, Andy Sipe and wife, Noel-Beth of Cary, NC, and Christopher Sipe and wife Carol of Lakeland, FL; 1 daughter, Anita Wegner and husband Bud of Stem, NC; 1 sister, Wilma Scoggins and husband Troy of Mooresville, NC; and 9 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Ascension Lutheran Church, 300 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC 28150.
