Angelita Saine Payseur died at Carolina Care Center on May 28, 2015. Angelita was born in Cherryville to parents, Ellis M. and Mallie Hallman Saine. She graduated from Cherryville High School and was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Vera Eaker Circle. Angelita enjoyed knowing and learning about people. Her passions were her family and keeping her age a secret.
During the years, Angelita worked as a dental assistant for Cherryville dentist Dr. Wehunt, was manager of Cherryville Credit Bureau, worked at Belk in Cherryville, and at Ferguson Hardware.
Angelita was preceded in death by her parents; her infant sister, Doris Ann Saine; and her husband, Oscar B. Payseur, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Mickey and wife, Debbie Payseur; grandson, Ben and wife, Jennifer Payseur; granddaughter, Jenny and husband, Brian Emerson; great granddaughters, Mallie Ann Emerson and Mikki Jane Emerson; sister, Betty Barrett; brother, Don and wife Mary Fenton Saine; nephews, Bruce and wife, Chris Barrett, and Jerry Barrett; nieces, Donna Kelton, and Elizabeth and husband, Cliff Mosher; and her "adopted" son, Morris and wife Marsha Keeter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Fite officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of Mickey and Debbie at 611 Sandycrest Dr.
The family would like to thank the administration and staff of Carolina Care and Leanne King for their loving care to Angelita and her family.
