Anita Louise Cousins Chance, age 82, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. Anita was born October 16, 1935 in Warren, ME to Leonard and Verna Partridge Cousins. Anita and her husband, Roy moved to Grover in 2000 from Maine. Anita loved flowers and had a passion for crocheting. In addition to her parents, Anita is preceded in death by her sister, Lora Ann Robinson.

Anita is survived by her husband of 59 years, George Roy Chance; a daughter, Sandra Chance of Shelby, and a son, George Roy Chance, Jr. and his wife Hanna from Orlando, FL; a brother Ronald Cousins of Union, ME and three grandchildren, William Chance, Alexander Chance and Harley Chance.

Memorial service will be at 11:00am on Thursday, August 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will received friends prior to the service from 10:00am-11:00am.
