Mrs. Anna Eleanor Rowe Wilkerson, 75 of 3015 Stonewall Ave., Swannanoa, NC, (formerly of Kings Mountain, NC) went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 6, 2010. Services were held at Christian Freedom Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC. A Private Burial followed in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.
Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. and Blanche H. Rowe; and 3 brothers, Charles E., William H. and Franklin D. Rowe.
She is survived by her husband, Fred J. Wilkerson of Swannanoa, NC; 1 son, Lloyd H. Durham and wife Vivian of Morganton, NC; 2 step-sons, Jody Wilkerson of Swannanoa, NC, and Wesley Wilkerson and wife Shannon of Liberty, NC; 2 daughters, Laura W. Smith and husband Richard, and Brenda W. Black and husband James, both of Kings Mountain, NC; 1 sister, Frances Harris of Kings Mountain; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
