Annie Louise Standridge Webber
 Annie Louise Standridge Webber, 85, of Shelby, passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville.  Born on April 25, 1929, she was the daughter of William Carson (Cart) and Hattie Adele Howington Strandridge.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Furman Lee Webber; granddaughter, Shelley Renee Webber; brother, Quillen (Jade) Standridge; and sisters, Geneva (Sam) Standridge, Lourene (Rene) Roberts and Renee Standridge.

She was owner and operator of Louise’s Beauty Shop on Dellinger Road in Shelby, however, a disabling vascular disease forced early retirement.  She was a remarkable woman, and with God’s help, she overcame many adversities and continued to live a kind, benevolent life, blessing the lives of all she met.

As a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her family was greatly blessed to have been a part of her precious life.  She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church of Shelby where she was formerly very active in various ministries including chairperson of the Hostess Committee.  She had a passion for helping others and regularly prepared meals for the sick and bereaved.

She is survived by a daughter, Kay W. Crawley and husband, Doug, of Cherryville; two sons, Mike Webber and wife, Patsy, of Shelby, and Joey Webber of Lincolnton; two granddaughters, Heather C. Holt and fiancé, Brandon Dean, of Cherryville, and Jennifer W. Hyde and husband Jason, of Shelby; three great-granddaughters, Chloe Holt of Winston-Salem, Shelby Hyde and Savannah Hyde of Shelby; a brother, Gerald Standridge and wife, Shirley, of Shelby; two sisters, Mae Tietje of Shelby and Lurlene (Kitty) Brocato of Ijamsville, MD; a brother-in-law, Woodrow (Woody) Roberts of Vienna, VA; two honorary daughters, Rachel W. Crowe and husband, Roger, of Shelby, and Martha F. Ledford and husband, Dean, of Shelby, their daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Josh Marlowe and children, Andrew, Aaron and Caleb of Boiling Springs.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 p.m. in the sanctuary of Zoar Baptist Church and other times at the home of Mike and Patsy Webber, 2904 Nicole Drive, Shelby, NC.

Celebration of Life Service: Monday at 2 p.m. following visitation

Burial: Following service at Cleveland Memorial Park in Boiling Springs
