Anthony Dwayne Lowery, 48 of Grover, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at home.

Born June 29, 1965 in Cleveland County, he was a son of Gwen Lowery and the late Ronnie Lowery.  He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, a graduate of Crest High School and attended Western Carolina University.  Tony was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing second to his family. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mike Lowery and grandparents, Gene and Pat Davis.

He is survived by his mother, Gwen Lowery; two sons, Cy and Walker whom he was very proud of; grandmother, Isabel Lowery; sister, Starr Heavner and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. 

Visitation:  5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Grover

Memorial Service: 6:00 PM, Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Grover

Officiating: Rev. Doug Dickens

Burial: will be private
