Anthony “Tony” Mark Black
 Anthony “Tony” Mark Black, 58, of Tobe Bridge Rd., died Wed. July 2, 2014 at Hospice at Wendover.
 
He was born on April 30, 1956 in Tacoma, Washington a son of the late Blanche Smith Black and Jack Black of Crouse. Tony was employed by American Efrid as Department Manager and formerly employed by the Carlton Mill.
 
 
 
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hospice at Wendover for their loving care given to Tony.
 
 
 
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Robin Hallman Black, son T.J. Black of Hendersonville, daughter Shelly Vogler (Shawn) of Hickory, two grandchildren Ty and Jake Vogler, sister Connie Seagle(Jeff) of Cherryville, five brothers  twin Tim Black, Crouse, Jackie Black(Debbie), Crouse, Dean Black, Lincolnton, Mike Black(Tonya), Salisbury, and David Black(Deanna), Crouse.
 
 
 
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Carpenter’s Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Ronald Lackey officiating with burial to follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from 6-8 PM and at other times at the home.
