The City of Kings Mountain is hoping that you will come "Home for Christmas," even if Kings Mountain isn't your hometown. The celebration, now in its second year, is scheduled for Saturday, Dec.14, and Saturday, Dec. 21 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. each evening in downtown Kings Mountain near Patriots Park.

I've really enjoyed the unseasonably warm January weather. I wouldn't mind if the whole winter felt like this. It has allowed me to do a bunch of stuff outside in comfort. One of things I'm getting ready to do is head back into the deer woods.
