        They will also have a huge yard sale, hot dogs and drinks, Saturday, September 6, 8:00-3:00, rain or shine. Lots of adult’s and children’s clothes.

Grace United Methodist Church, Kings Mtn
        Grace United Methodist Church, 830 Church Street, Kings Mtn., NC, will be having a Bible Study on Revelation and parts of Daniel and Ezekiel pertaining to prophecy, Thursday, September 4, 6:30pm until the study is finished. Mrs. Jeannine Fisher will be the teacher. She has taught Sunday School and Bible Study at Grace UMC for 49 years also taught Bible at Kings Mountain High for 20 years.
Dover Baptist Church, Shelby
        Dover Baptist Church, 1501 Polkville Rd. Shelby, NC, will be hosting the two day “Keep the P.E.A.C.E” Purity Conference: ‘Purity Education According to Christ’s Example’, sponsored by Project 180, Inc., Teen Straight Talk, Inc. & “Say DATT” Ministries. The conference will begin Friday, September 5, 7:00pm with a ‘Family Fun Night’  featuring Putnam Memorial Baptist Church Praise Team, Illusionist Ronn Winter, Comic Ventriloquist Trish Dunn, & ‘God’s Poet’ Ed Will, as well as many other anointed gifts. Empowering conference sessions will be conducted on Saturday, September 6 from 8:45am-1:30pm that focus on the truth of purity according to the example set by Jesus Christ. The conference will conclude Saturday, September 7, 4:30pm with a ‘Keep the P.E.A.C.E.’ Banquet Ceremony with guest speaker Min. Cora Chambers of Faith Harvest Church, Shelby, NC. Friday night’s event is free and open to the public. Central United Methodist Church, Kings Mtn
        Central United Methodist Church, 113 S. Piedmont Ave., Kings Mountain, NC will be having a breakfast Saturday, September 6, 6:00-10:00am. It will be a country style buffet (all you can eat). There will be eggs, grits, biscuits, toast, bacon, sausage, country ham, liver mush and gravy. Drinks: coffee both full flavor and caffeine free, juice, milk, and soft  drinks. They ask a $6 donation, children 6 and under, free.
