Crestview Baptist Church
Crestview Baptist Church will not have it’s monthly breakfast in January, at it will fall on the 1st. Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you February 5th, 2011.
“Home of the Best Steaks in Shelby”
PASTOR’S: We at Western Sizzlin Steak House of Shelby, located at 1712 East Dixon Blvd., Shelby, are starting a church-oriented program. We are preposing a way to give back some of the revenue generated by your own members. If you would like to participate, have someone from your church contact us so that we can set everything up for you. It will be very simple. After we have your acceptance, all your members need to do is while dining with us after 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday and all day on Sundays is simply write their name and the name of the church on the back of their receipt and place it in the comment box. At the end of each month we will tally the amount for each church. A check equal to 10% of the total will be issued in the name of your church. If you would be interested in participating nothing else is required. We would like to offer our catering and banquet room facilities for any of your functions and we look forward to being of service to you. A Healing Place
(beside Mayflower Seafood Restaurant)
A Healing Place, located at 1245 Dixon Blvd., Shelby is a Judgment Free Zone. Sunday Worship is at 2:00 pm and Youth Contemporary Service Select Saturday’s at 7:00 pm. Let us show you the love of Christ without the man made legalism! Saturday night contemporary service will be followed by games for youth, a place for them to go and see the love of Christ. They will hear music from today’s top artist like Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Tenth Avenue North and others.
Peoples Baptist Church
The church will celebrate New Year’s Eve on Friday, December 31st at 10:30 pm. You are cordially invited to come and celebrate with us on this special occasion. Help us to bring in the new year with singing and praising the Lord! We will be looking forward to seeing you there.
Plainsview Baptist Church, Fallston
New Years Eve Watchnight Service will be held at Plainsview Baptist Church, Fallston, 8:00 pm until midnight Fri., Dec. 31. Featuring Jaidyn’s Call from Dawsonville, Georgia. Debra Perry, formerly with the Perrys and her husband Chris along with Grant Gibson make up the group. Refreshments and fellowship to follow. Everyone is welcome and bring a friend.
Plesant Hill United Methodist Church
We will have our Country Ham Breakfast Buffet at Pleasant Hill U.M.C. (located on Warlick Road, between Belwood and Casar) on Saturday, January 15th from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. The cost for adults - $6.00, Children - $4.00; and under 6 eat Free. The proceeds go to pay for Fuel Oil for the church. We will be serving scrambled eggs, country ham, bacon, sausage, livermush, pancakes, gravy, grits, biscuits, coffee, and orange juice; also fruit bar and snack bar. All you can eat!
