Abundant Life Faith Ministries
The Abundant Life Faith Ministries Love Fest 2011 will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the American Red Cross on Fallston Rd., Shelby. Food, games and prizes will be given. For ticket information contact Elder Deborah Alleen (704) 685-6613.
Shelby Missionary Methodist Church
Shelby Missionary Methodist Church Food Ministry would like to invite you Saturday, February 12, 2011 @ 6:00pm to our Candlelight Valentines Day dinner and a movie. They will be serving salad, 12 oz. ribeye steak, baked potato, rolls, drinks, and desert including Death by chocolate cake, cheesecake, and many others. Movie will start @ 7:00pm. Cost is $15.00 per person. Please come out and join them for a wonderful evening. All proceeds benefit the Food Ministry. The Food Ministry helps local families with a weeks worth of food. Please call for reservations, but walk-ins are welcome. Please pull around the back and enter into fellowship hall.
Carpenter’s Grove Church, Lawndale
Mr. Gene Seagle lost his home to a fire on January 10, 2011. Carpenter’s Grove Baptist Church is having a fundraiser on Saturday February 12, 2011 from 4:00 pm until. The meal will consist of smoked Chicken, baked beans, slaw, roll, dessert and drink. Hot dogs will also be available. After the meal there will be an auction. A Bluegrass band, The Granny Mountain Boys, will be preforming during this time. All proceeds will go to Mr. Seagle to replace his belongings.
Big Springs Baptist Church Dinner Theatre
Back by popular demand, Uncle Phil’s Diner, an evening of interactive theatre, dinner, and live music, presented again by Big Springs Baptist Church, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 13, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. Price of ticket: $15.00 per person. Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Cherryville
Bethlehem United Methodist Church will be holding their Annual Soup and Sandwich Supper on Sunday, February 13, 2011, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The fundraiser is for the building fund. CHINA ANGELS TOUR-Ancient Chinese Dance and Kung Fu Performance will be presented by Living Hope International at Christ Covenant Church, Shelby. Pastor Messer was diagnosed with stage IV of Adenocarcinoma. Plates are $4..00 pintos, cornbread, potatoes and slaw and $5.00 for pintos, cornbread, potatoes, slaw and dessert.
