Temple Baptist Church
Temple Baptist Church would like to extend a invitation to everyone to come visit our church. It’s a church that’s growing in the Lord. We are a small church, but a loving church and you can come as you are. We are a church that’s excited and love lifting up Jesus and helping others. We have a great Sunday School for kids and adults that starts at 10 am each Sunday. We have some really great singers during our Worship Service and some Holy Ghost preaching at 11:00 am and Sunday nights at 6:00pm. We have prayer meeting on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm. If you want a blessing, then come visit with us. It’s a blessing that you will want to share with everyone you meet. Our church is located on DeKalb Street, across from Shelby High School. Hudson Memorial Bible Study
Beginning this new year, Dr. Jerry Hudson will be teaching the Book of Revelation each Sunday morning at the 11:00am service. Come hear this great teaching. Also, join us for Sunday School at 9:45 am and Sunday evening at 6:00pm. Wednesdays meet at 7:00pm studying the Gospel of Mark. “Home of the Best Steaks in Shelby”
PASTORS: We at Western Sizzlin Steak House of Shelby, located at 1712 East Dixon Blvd., Shelby, are starting a church-oriented program. We are proposing a way to give back some of the revenue generated by your own members. If you would like to participate, have someone from your church contact us so that we can set everything up for you. It will be very simple. After we have your acceptance, all your members need to do is while dining with us after 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday and all day on Sundays is simply write their name and the name of the church on the back of their receipt and place it in the comment box. At the end of each month we will tally the amount for each church. A check equal to 10% of the total will be issued in the name of your church. If you would be interested in participating nothing else is required. We would like to offer our catering and banquet room facilities for any of your functions and we look forward to being of service to you. Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church
We will have our Country Ham Breakfast Buffet at Pleasant Hill U.M.C. (located on Warlick Road, between Belwood and Casar) on Saturday, January 15th from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. The cost for adults - $6.00, Children - $4.00; and under 6 eat Free. The proceeds go to pay for Fuel Oil for the church. We will be serving scrambled eggs, country ham, bacon, sausage, livermush, pancakes, gravy, grits, biscuits, coffee, and orange juice; also fruit bar and snack bar. All you can eat! Beulah United Methodist Church
Come to our Breakfast Buffet Youth Fundraiser on Saturday, January 15th for delicious food and wonderful fellowship. We will be serving from 7:00 am until 10:00 am. The cost for adults is $6.00 and children under 12 is only $3.00. Breakfast includes Bacon, Sausage, Livermush, Eggs, Biscuits, Grits, Sausage Gravy, Fruit Cocktail, Juices and Coffee. Grace United Methodist Church Breakfast
Grace United Methodist Church located at 829 Cleveland Ave. in Kings Mountain, NC will have a Country Style Buffet Breakfast (All You Can Eat) on Sat., Jan. 15th from 6:00am until 10:00 am. Donation of $6.00 adults and $3.00 children age 7-12; children 6 & under eat fee; seniors age 60+ only $5.00. All are welcome for guaranteed good food and fellowship. All proceeds go to building fund.
Friendly Chapel Baptist Church
We will be having our Third Sunday Night Gospel Singing, Sunday, January 16 at 6:30 pm. Our church is located 2-1/2 miles East of Fallston, NC on Sugar Hill Road. “The Hamptons” from Blacksburg, SC and “Joe Willis” from Morganton, NC will be our featured singers. Everyone is Welcome!

Allen Memorial Baptist Yard Sale
Allen Memorial Baptist Church will hold a yard sale and breakfast on Sat., Jan. 22nd beginning at 7:00am. There will be sausage biscuits, gravy biscuits and coffee. The church is located at 1222 Longbranch Rd., Grover, NC.
Shady Grove Baptist Comedy & Bluegrass
The Joey Hancock Camo Collar Tour comes to Cherryville, NC. Please join the Baptist Men’s Group on Sat., Jan. 22nd for a free night of bluegrass and comedy at Shady Grove Baptist Church located at 3240 Tryon Courthouse Rd. in Cherryville, NC. Beginning at 6:00pm there will be a free dinner served with bluegrass music and Joey Hancock’s comedy. Please join us at no cost and bring the whole family to a hilarious and unique experience.
