        The Ladies of Second Baptist Church, 120 Linwood Road, Kings Mountain, NC, would like to invite adult men and women to a free breakfast and inspirational presentation intitled “A Wonder-Filled Life”, Saturday, January 25, 10:00am - 12:00 noon, at The Life Enrichment Center behind the church. The subject will be covered by Ms. Sheila Crouch. Ms. Crouch is an excellent and well qualified speaker and is expected to talk about finding and living in wonder for this new year, and those yet to come by enhancing relationships with Christ.

Zion Hill Baptist Church, Lawndale
        Zion Hill Baptist Church, 8173 Old NC 18, Lawndale, NC, will host two fundraisers the weekend of February 1 and 2.  February 1st is our monthly country breakfast consisting of ham, bacon, sausage, liver mush, eggs, biscuit, gravy, grits, fruit and drink. You can choose which meat or all four and everything else on a plate for only $5.  Time is 7:00 - 10:00am. Sunday, Feb. 2, we will have a Poor Man’s Luncheon from 12:30 - 2:00pm. Menu: pintos, oven potatoes, slaw, onions, corn bread, dessert and drink. Cost is a donation. All proceeds benefit our building fund. Church is about 5 miles south of South Mountain State Park.
