Attention: Date change for July! Corinth Baptist Church in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina will have a Food Distribution Friday, July 8, 2016, 4:00-7:00pm. (Everyone please note the time change for distribution.) The Clothing Room is also open during this time. Corinth Baptist Church is located at 324 Corinth Church Road, Casar, NC. The distribution will be in the basement of the new fellowship building. July Clothing and Food Distributions will be the 2nd and 4th Fridays the month of July. Living Word Ministries, Lowesville
The Bledsoes Southern Gospel Trio from Dobson, NC will be our featured artist at Lowesville Gospel Concerts/Living Word Ministries, 1062 South Hwy 16, Lowesville (Stanley) NC, Saturday July 9, 2016. The singing will begin at 6:00pm. The Concert will be no charge, however a freewill offering will be received. Church is located 1.8 miles south of intersection Hwy 73 & 16 business. Southern Gospel Music on every 2nd Saturday evening and Bluegrass Gospel on every 4th Saturday. Ivan Parker from Nashville, TN will be the featured artist at Lowesville Gospel Concerts/Living Word Ministries on Saturday, July 16, 2016, 5:30pm. Ivan is a mainstay on the Gaither Homecoming Video Series, he also sang with Gold City Quartet for years. Adam Beard from Stanley, NC will also be on the program. Admission will be $10 at the door. First Assembly of God, Shelby
First Assembly of God, 1905 E. Marion St., Shelby, NC invites you to join them on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 10:00am til 4:00pm. They will be having games for kids and adults, food at 12:00pm and showing of the movie War Room at 1:00pm. At the end of the day they will be giving away 300 bookbags. Seating is limited for the movie so please come early to get a seat.
Shelby Missionary Methodist Church
Shelby Missionary Methodist Church, 1402 Earl Rd, Shelby NC, will hold Vacation Bible School on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 9am - 1:30pm. Registration: 8:30-9:00. For ages 4-13 years old (must be potty-trained). Children will learn about important Bible events, sing songs, do arts and crafts, and participate in outdoor activities. Morning snack and Lunch will be provided. Parents are invited to join the children in the final singing session, from 1:00-1:15. Directly following the final singing session, there may be outdoor activities involving water, so please have children bring along an extra pair of clothes and/or a towel, if you want them dry when they leave.
