City Of Hope South At Second Baptist Church City - Wide Revival
City Of Hope South at Second Baptist Church will hold the final night of their City Wide Revival “Fresh Wind-Fresh Fire - Fresh Annointing” on Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m. Revival Host is Bishop Moore and Elder Sandra Moore. Reverend William Thompson of St. Peter Baptist Church, Grover will be the guest speaker. Second Baptist Church is located at 1114 South Lafayette Street, Shelby, NC.

Westover Baptist Church Support Group

Zion Hill Baptist Free Health Screening
Zion Hill Baptist Church located at 8173 Old NC 18 Lawndale will offer a FREE HEALTH SCREENING on June 4th from 7-10 am. This will be a free blood lipid panels check. This will be done by Blue Ridge Health Care of Morganton and the results will be mailed to you. PLEASE FAST BEFORE YOU COME. A healthy breakfast will be offered before you leave.
Emmanuel Baptist Church, Cherryville
We would like to invite everyone to come out for some Christian fellowship on Saturday, June 4th. We will be serving a poor man supper and have some good Ole’ Christian music for a fund raiser. Hudson Memorial Baptist Church, located at 762 Warlick Road, Lawndale will celebrate Homecoming Sunday, June 5th. At 10:00 am “Living By Faith” will be our featured singers and at 11:00 am our Worship Service. After the service we will have a covered dish dinner.

A Youth Benefit Yard and Hot Dog Lunch will be held Saturday, June 11th, starting at 7:00 am. Biscuits and Coffee will be for sale and from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm will sell Hot Dog plates (1 hot dog)for $5.00 and for a 2 hot dog plate cost $6.00. “Beach Blast” will be the theme for our Vacation Bible School at Dover Baptist Church this year. The church is located at 1500 Polkville Road, Shelby. Our VBS Kickoff will be held Sunday, June 12 from 4:30 to 6:45 (prepare to get wet). VBS Supper will be held Monday-Thursday, June 13 - 16 from, 5:15 to 6:00; and VBS Instruction will follow the supper each night from 6:00 to 8:00; and then on Friday, June 17, our VBS Celebration from 4:30 to 7:00. Our VBS is for children ages 2 - 12. Adult class will be available.
