New Hope Baptist Church, located at 2621 Blacksburg Rd., (Hwy. 198), Earl will hold their “First Annual Duke of Earl Run For Missions”. Runners and walkers are welcome at the 5K Run. Race starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 25. Pre-registration costs (through May 11th) is $20.00 for adults and $10.00, ages 17 and under. After May 11th, registration costs are $25 for Adults and $15 for ages 17 and under. Runners will receive a “Duke Of Earl” t-shirt, pancake breakfast and free child care. The Pancake Breakfast will be served 7 a.m. until. Cost is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for ages 50-10. All proceeds go to the local and international mission fund.
