Glenwood Baptist Church, Ellenboro
Glenwood Baptist Church, 461 Bostic-Sunshine Hwy. Bostic NC, will hold a dinner theatre on Friday, June 1st at 6:00pm. Music will be provided by Southern Sounds Quartet, The Foothills Choir, and special guest Sarah Petty. Zion Hill Baptist Church, Lawndale
Zion Hill Baptist Church, 8173 Old NC 18 Lawndale will host two fundraisers on Saturday, June 2nd. The day will begin with a country breakfast and all the fixins from 7-10 AM. Cost is only $5 for a plate including drink. The second fundraiser will be a Fun Day Carnival with a variety of games, food and prizes. Times for the carnival is 11-2. Food will include hot dogs, chips, drinks, cotton candy, apples, and pop corn. All food items are only $1. Games will also only be $1 and if you buy multiple tickets the games will cost less. Zion Hill Baptist Church will offer a free health screening on June 9th from 7-10 AM. The screening will be given by Blue Ridge Health Care of Morganton. The screening will consist of FREE blood work, a $350 or more procedure at many doctor offices. There will be a $25 charge for PSA tests for men. Please fast before you come. Registration is currently underway for the Shelby Day Class of Community Bible Study. These non-denominational classes are available for men, women, and children ages infant through high school.
