Restoration Church International
“The Rapture” presented by Restoration Church International, located at (I-85 exit 95) 1905 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, SC. Doors will open 2 hours before performance (Limited Seating-First Come, First Served). Performance Times is every Saturday at 6:00 pm through - Saturday, Dec. 18th; and Friday, Dec. 31 at 6 and 9:30 pm. Suggested $3.00 Donation at the door. A love offering will be received. Pentecostal Apostolic Church of Christ
We will observe Pastoral Appreciation on Thursday & Friday, Nov. 18 & 19 with Rev. Les Howard; and the Climax, Sunday, Nov. 21 with Rev. Melvin Clark. Dover Baptist Church Chicken Pie Supper
Our church will have a Chicken Pie Supper Saturday, November 20 beginning at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Takeout available or enjoy good Christian fellowship in the dining area. Grace United Methodist Church
Grace United Methodist Church, located at 829 Cleveland Ave. (Hwy 161), Kings Mountain, NC will have a Country Style Buffet Breakfast (all you can eat) Saturday, November 20th from 6:00 until 10:00 am. We only ask for a donation of $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 7 thru 12. Those 6 and under Free and Seniors 60 and over $5.00. All are welcome! Guaranteed good food and fellowship. Oak Grove United Methodist Church will hold an All You Can Eat Breakfast and Bake Sale on Saturday, November 20th, 7:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Cost for the breakfast is $5.00 per person. New Hope Baptist Church, located at 5186 Hope Road, Vale, NC will have its annual basketball tournaments on November 20, 9:00am – until, at Jacob Fork Middle School Gymnasium located behind Fred T Ford High School in Vale. Admission Fee $1.00 per child & $2.00 for adults there is no admission fee if you are playing on a team! Teams consist of: Young Girls & Boys ages 12 & under, Teenaged Girls & Boys ages 13 – 18, Adult women & men ages 19 & up. Team fee: $75 per team, $125 for two teams & $50 each team added after two. Pre-Thanksgiving Worship Service
Township Number Three Ruritan Club will host a pre-Thanksgiving Worship Service on Wednesday, November 24th at 7:00 pm at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 1227 Mt. Sinai Church Road, Shelby. Rev. Travis Laflin, minister youth for New Hope Baptist Church will be the guest speaker. Special music will be provided by the Men’s Ensemble from Crossroad Rescue Mission, Girls in Action from Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Harmony of Hope from New Hope Baptist Church and Adult Hamdbell Choir from Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Others participating in the service are Rev. Russ Bradley, New Hope Baptist, Rev. Tim Trexler, Mt. Sinai Baptist and Ms. Diane Nestlerode, Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. Bradley Ellis will be in Concert on the Mountain Dulcimer Sunday, November 28th at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Grover, 403 Cleveland Avenue, Grover, NC. Bradley is the 2010 Kentucky State Champion and 2nd Place in the 2010 National Dulcimer Championship, Winfield, Kansas. A Love Offering will be taken for Billy Stroup, a cancer patient.
