        Sandy Plains Baptist Church, 2112 New House Road, Shelby, NC will be presenting, for the sixteenth year, “Come to Bethlehem”, an outdoor Christmas drama which honors our Lord’s Nativity, on Friday-Sunday, December 6-8, 6:00pm - 8:00pm. This drama is a walk through experience where all “pilgrim” visitors actually pass through fifteen separate, realistic areas that would have existed in the ancient city of Bethlehem. We have devoted many weeks to the physical construction of the areas and more than 120 of our family and friends portray characters in the Bethlehem village. You may arrive at any time during these hours. Admission is free; however, we are inviting people to bring a canned food donation to be distributed among area food banks. We recommend, when possible, that groups come Friday or Saturday evening to avoid waiting. Sunday is usually their busiest evening.
