Ascension Lutheran Church, will also hold "Lasting Gifts" Dinner and Conversation, Wednesdays, November 11 and 18. Bring a salad or dessert to share and join them for dinner and conversation for three Wednesday evenings in November. Each week dinner will begin at 6:15pm and the speaker will begin at 7:00pm.
The Church invites you to Come hear Cantamos perform at 4:00pm in their sanctuary on Sunday, November 15, 2015. The event is free and open to the public. Cantamos! ("We Sing") is a 40-member choir, all of whom have attended a Via de Cristo or similar spiritual retreat. A ministry of the Western North Carolina Via de Cristo, the choir has been together since 1997 and performs regularly in communities to share their music and faith. A freewill offering will be collected for music, a new CD and expenses. Light refreshments will be served afterward in the fellowship hall. There is an accessible lift for wheelchairs.
