Resurrection Lutheran Church, Kings Mtn.
Resurrection Lutheran Church, 600 Crescent Circle will hold a big Octoberfest on October 15 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for the benefit of Kings Mountain Rescue Squad and the church pre-school program. Admission is $5 and includes lunch and all activities for children, including inflatables, cookie decorating, pumpkin decorating, face painting, balloon animals and a hayride. The lunch menu will include choice of a German plate (sausage/bun, sauerkraut, German potato salad, drink and dessert); hamburger and/or hot dog plates which also include chips, drinks and dessert. For take-out food orders call the church office on Tuesday prior to the event. The public is invited to participate.
