   Kistler’s United Methodist Church in Lawndale will be holding their annual BBQ on Saturday, October 29 from 4:00 p.m. until.  Take-outs are available. They will also be holding their annual Fall Festival on Sunday, October 30 from 4:00 until 6:00.  There will be food, games, a bouncy house, hay rides, and more.  Bring your family and come enjoy a terrific evening with us.

UMVIM Medical Mission Team Fund Raiser
   The United Methodist Volunteers In Mission Medical Mission Team Fund Raiser for the Costa/Rica/Nicaragua Border Medical Team (January 2012) will be held on Saturday, November 5, 8 am-4pm.  at Pat Farley’s home, 1020 Belwood-Lawndale Rd., Lawndale (Belwood community).The fundraiser will consist of their annual craft show, a garage sale and refreshments for sale. Hoey Memorial United Methodist Church, Shelby
   Hoey Memorial United Methodist Church will hold a Bazaar and Bake Sale on Saturday, November 5, from 7 am-1pm. They will be serving breakfast of  biscuits & coffee; hot dogs for lunch and cakes and desserts. There will be a drawing for a handmade quilt at 1 pm.    Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 6753 NC Highway 182, Cherryville will hold their Annual Barbecue on Saturday, November 5, 2011, 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The cost for adults $9.00 - Children 6-12, $6.00. Cross Country Cowboy Church
  Cross Country Cowboy Church is moving to a new location in Cleveland County. The church will relocate to a property previously operated by the Tri County Horsemen’s Assn. at 2303 Dellview Rd. Shelby, NC 28150. God has provided them with a wonderful opportunity to grow and fulfill His will at this new location. They will begin holding services there on Sunday, November 6th,  and would like to extend an invitation for you to come join us in celebrating this new work that God is allowing us to be part of.    Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, 261 Cedar Grove Church Rd., Vale, will hold an Alternative Christmas Fair Trade World Marketplace on Sunday, November 6, 12:00-4:00. Items from Unique World Gifts (Ten Thousand Villages) of Hickory will be on display for sale, benefitting craftsmen from around the world through the program of fair trade. All proceeds benefit the ministry of Unique World Gifts. Sponsored by Women of the ELCA of Cedar Grove.
New Hope Baptist Church, Earl
   New Hope Baptist Church will hold their Annual BBQ and Harvest Day on Saturday, November 12. This event includes a Yard Sale on Friday, November 11, 2:00 p.m. until dark and Saturday, Nov. 12, 7:00 a.m.-12 Noon. This will be under the oak trees. BBQ will be served 11:00 a.m. at Hope Center.    Central United Methodist Church, 113 S. Piedmont Ave., Kings Mtn., will hold a Soup-er Saturday, on Saturday, November 12, 7 AM-12PM. This event will include a Yard Sale, baked items and a craft sale. Yard sale begins at 7:00 AM. Proceeds from the Bake and Craft Sale will go to Cleveland County Childrens Home, Kings Mountain Crisis Ministry, Russell Fellowship Christmas Project and Battered Women’s Shelter. This is sponsored by the United Methodisth Women. The Soup and Sandwich Sale is sponsored by The United Methodist Men. Dine-in or Carry Out, 10 am-2:00 pm. Soup is available for these prices: Gallon $15; half-gallon $8; quart $5; soup and sandwich $4. Bulk quantities require ticket.
Immaculate Conception Church, Forest City
   The Ladies Guild of the Immaculate Conception Church in Forest City is sponsoring a Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, November 12 from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be breakfast and light lunch available, a bake sale and frozen entrees available. A raffle will be held for prizes. 1st prize is a handmade quilt. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. This is a great place for Christmas shopping. There will be door prizes throughout the day.
Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Shelby

Double Springs Baptist Church, Lattimore
    Rev. Bill Fryar will share his amazing testimony at the annual Men’s Night Out at Double Springs Baptist Church Monday, Nov. 14. Double Springs is located at 1130 Double Springs Church Road, near Lattimore.
   Tickets are now available for the Singing Christmas Tree, presented annually at Double Springs Baptist Church. The tickets are free of charge but are required for attendance at the three services scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, Saturday, Nov. 26 or Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011.
