Area Church News October 31st Edition
Second Baptist Church, Kings Mountain
The children’s Ministry of Second Baptist Church, 120 Linwood Road, Kings Mountain, NC is inviting children age 12 and under, along with their parents or caretakers to a free and safe alternative to trick or treat on Halloween. The event is called Creation Station and will take place on Thursday October 31, in the Life Enrichment Center behind the Church. 6:30pm until 8:00pm. Kids and their parents will get to walk through and learn about the days of Creation in a fun way, and then celebrate with food, drink and cupcakes. This is a wonderful way to help indoctrinate children into the truth about God’s miracles of creation and hopefully give them a desire to come back to the Church for other opportunities to learn about Jesus and His offer of salvation for an eternity in Heaven. Adults of the children’s Ministry will be on hand to guide children and their parents through the stages of creation, and they’ll be offering fun games with candy prizes to assist in the teaching.
