The Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church of Caroleen
The Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church of Caroleen will be having Revival beginning on Monday, September 30 thru Friday October 4, 7:00 each night. On Monday/Tuesday Rev. Chris Rumfelt of Hayesville, N.C. will be preaching. On Wednesday - Friday Rev. Nathan Jennings of Elizabethton, TN will be preaching. Special Singing each night and the Congregation and Pastor Robert Harris invite everyone to come for a time of refreshing from the Lord. Zion Hill Baptist Church, Lawndale
Zion Hill Baptist Church, 8173 Old NC 18, Lawndale will have two meal fundraisers. Saturday, October 5, 7:00-10:00am, will be our monthly country breakfast. Plates include a choice of two meats, gravy, grits, eggs, biscuit, and drink for only $5. Meat choices are country ham, tenderloin, bacon, liver mush, sausage, and bologna. Sunday, October 6, following worship we will have a luncheon featuring baked chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, dessert, roll and drink. Cost is a donation. Time will be 12:30-2:00pm. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3932 Pleasant Grove Church Road, Shelby, will be having a Breakfast Fundraiser & Car Wash, Saturday, October 5, Breakfast: 7:00am - 10:00am. Pancakes, sausage, livermush and bacon will be served (all you can eat). The cost is $6 for adults, and $3 for children 12 and under. Proceeds will go to local missions. There will be a car wash from 10:00am until noon sponsored by the Youth. Donations will be accepted. All monies raised will go to the Youth’s Fort Caswell trip in November. Flint Hill Baptist Church is having a fundraiser golf tournament for youth mission on October 12 at Deerbrook G.C. A BBQ lunch will be served at 12:00 and a shotgun start at 1:00. It is a captains choice event with 2 flights, trophies, lots of prizes, $10,000.00 for a hole-in-one on #6. Entry fee is $60.00 per golfer with mulligans and sponsorships available.
