Arnold Whit Ramsey, 80, of 320 Upper Deal Street, passed away Friday, May 14th, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Lucille Allison Ramsey and the son of the late Crowder Ramsey and Nellie Humphries Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey had a degree in water treatment and was a member of Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship Church. He was a veteran of the US Navy.

Mr. Ramsey is survived by his daughter, Pam Spencer (JR); his son, Dylan Ramsey (Stephanie); four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, and Kaidyn and Kashton.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sons, Maurice and Marty Ramsey, and his brother, Gaithren "Red" Ramsey.

Graveside services will be Monday, May 17, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 101 Mountain View Drive, Blacksburg, SC, with Rev. Gregg Martin officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. JR Spencer, Dylan Ramsey, Matt West, Miguel Cleto, Dwayne Ramsey, and Flo Ramsey will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at their respective residences.
