Autumn Brooke Gantt, 42, of Old Highway 150 died Tuesday May 12, 2015 at Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain. She was born in Cleveland Co. on Oct. 8, 1972 a daughter of the Beverly Barts Gantt of Vale and the late Ronald Gene Gantt.

Brooke was a member of North Brook Baptist Church, attended Western Carolina University, graduate of Caldwell Community College, an X-Ray technician and a phlebotomist. She found great pleasure in riding her horses at Love Valley, South Mountain and the wagon trains, a Blue Heeler dog breeder, animal lover, and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving companion of 15 years Tim Elmore, a brother Shayne Gantt of Vale, nephew Colten Gantt, of Vale and paternal grandmother Kathaleen Lackey Gantt of Vale.

A The family will receive friends Saturday at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services from 1-2:30 PM and at other times at the home of Beverly Gantt, 8641 Reep's Grove Ch. Rd., Vale, NC. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3 PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bob Wise officiating
