Mr. Avid Davis, 80, of 7849 Bud Davis Road, Vale, NC, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010. Services were held at Macedonia United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Lee Davis and Gertie O. Reep Davis; 5 brothers, J.C. Davis, O.B. Davis, Wilford Davis, Aaron Davis and Jones Davis; and 2 sisters, Alma Motz and Lois Hastings.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Steve Davis of Vale, and Glenn Davis of Newston; and 1 sister, Shirley Ann Stevens of Brevard.
