| Barbara Ann Borders Falls, 61, of 5210 Canaan Church Road, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, Mrs. Falls was the wife of Terry C. Falls of the home and the daughter of the late Jack Borders and Catherine Batchler Borders of Blacksburg.
In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Falls is survived by two sons, Richie Pennington and Todd Pennington, both of Gaffney; a brother, Michael Borders of Blacksburg; a sister, Diane Allen of Blacksburg; and 3 grandchildren.
Mrs. Falls was preceded in death by her father, Jack Borders, and a brother, Larry Borders.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 7:30pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 3:00pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Scott Bell officiating. Entombment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Chris Borders, David Cooper, Michael Cooper, Roger Batchler, Albert Peterson, and Dustin Wright will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be at her mother's residence, 302 Borders Street, Blacksburg.
