LINCOLNTON - Barbara Pressley Turner Rogers,75, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at CMC-Lincolnton, NC. Born to her parents, the late Huey and Jennie Hester Pressley. Barbara was a native of Gaston County and lived in Sherrills Ford, NC. She was loved by all that met her. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Carver of Kings Mountain, NC, Betty Smith of Maiden, NC and Rickey Turner and wife, Linda Turner of the home; sixteen grandchildren: twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild: one brother-in-law, Boyd Jones of Stanley, NC; one sister-in-law, Shirley Henderson of Fallston, NC; many nieces and nephews, great-niece's and nephews.
She is predeceased by Lewis Turner, III; a son Lewis Turner, IV: two bothers, five sisters and one grandson, Dwayne Parker.
A 3:00 p.m. Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 30,2016 at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church, 6815 E.Hwy.150 Maiden, NC 28650 with Pastor Jeff Harris officiating.
