Barbara “Willene” Snellings, 72, of 1598 Maysville Rd., died Sun., July 14, 2014, at her home.  A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late William Andy and Eloise Mintz Martin.  She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, and worked as a beautician for many years, owning Community and Images by Design salons.  The family will like to thank Donna, Lynn, and Teresa with Hospice of Cleveland County, and her caregivers, Gail Booth, Joanne Tomlin, and Ashley McCraw, for all their love and care.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Denise Greene 

SURVIVED:  She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Norris Snellings, of the home; son, Scott Snellings and wife Kelly of Lawndale; daughter, Joy Lail and husband Jeff of Cherryville; sister, Bernice Martin Greene of Shelby; grandchildren, Andy Snellings and wife Kristin, Adam, and Ally Snellings, and Hunter Lail; great-grandchildren, Cason and Brayton Snellings; nieces, Debbie Walker and Sherrie Ledford.

SERVICES:  Tuesday, 3p.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION:  The family will receive friends Tuesday, 1:30-3p.m., at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
