Barry Franklin Greene, age 56 of Cooper City, Florida, passed away on August 3, 2015, at Memorial Hospital Pembroke, Pembroke Pines, Florida.

He was born on September 6, 1958 to Gilbert and Jean Hartley Greene.

He was self-employed in home improvements.

He is survived by his friend, Laura Loffredo, of Cooper City, Florida; two daughters, Katie and Michelle Greene of St. Petersburg, FL; a granddaughter, Rylee; sister, Vickie Yount and husband, Bill of Bostic, NC; brothers, Ron Greene and wife, Charlie of Shelby, NC; niece, Ashley Izzi of Shelby, NC and nephew Tony Izzi IV of Shelby, NC.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 pm, Saturday August 15, 2015 at Westview Baptist Church, Shelby, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Westview Baptist Church, Shelby, NC.
