Mr. Ben Lee McSwain, 100, formerly of Carillon Assisted Living, Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010. Services were held at Second Baptist Church. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Mr. McSwain was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Colquitt McSwain; his parents, Joe and Sally Cantrell; and 1 son, Bobby Joe McSwain.
He is survived by 1 son, Ben D. McSwain and wife Lavon of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 daughter-in-law, Lois T. McSwain of Greensboro.
