Benjamin Elmo Foutch, 70, of Shelby, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

Ben was born on June 9, 1952 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Wiley Elmo Foutch and Dorothy Mae Benson.

Ben retired from CSX transportation and was a graduate from Castle Heights Military Academy. He loved golf, Alabama football, racing and family.

Ben is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Melony Ann Condrey Foutch. Also left to cherish his memory are four daughters, Amy McKinzie, Jennifer Scharett and her husband Ricky, Beth Adkisson and her husband Derrick, April Hendreschke and her husband Tyson and one son, Andrew McMahan and his wife Debbie. Lastly, he is survived by ten wonderful grandchildren, Patton Scharett and his fiance Dylan Sutton, Zack Foutch, Maddax Scharett, Julie Dellinger, Layla McKinzie, William McMahan, Sofie McKinzie, Avery Scharett, Shelby Adkisson and Rylea Hendreschke.

A memorial service to honor the life of Benjamin Elmo Foutch will be held 3 o'clock, Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends an hour prior.
