Blacksburg --Bernard George Naylor, Jr., 55, of 132 Erin's Mountain Trail, passed away on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, at Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Rhode Island, he was the husband of Erin McGarry Naylor and the son of Lorraine Nelson and the late Joe Nelson. Bernard worked as a carpenter. He was a mechanic and loved working on cars. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a jack-of-all-trades.

Surviving Mr. Naylor are his son, Ben Naylor and wife, Dallas, of Blacksburg; five stepchildren, Tiffany Sue Rohdy (Dustin), Lance Antisdel (Danielle), Stephanie Thompson, Austin Antisdel, and Brandie Saurino (Peter); ten grandchildren, and several siblings.

Mr. Naylor was preceded in death by his father, Joe Nelson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm at the Gordon Mortuary Chapel.
