Bernice McSwain Hester, 73, of 2303 New Prospect Church Rd, Shelby, died
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Crawley Memorial Hospital in Boiling Springs.
Born April 18, 1939 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late
Walter Thomas McSwain and Ellen Addie Sue Heafner McSwain. She was retired
from Universal Manufacturing as a trim department supervisor and was a
member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Coyt
Delane Hester and her daughter, Janet Hardin.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Timothy Hardin and wife, Jamie of
Marion and Leanne Hardin of Wilmington.
Visitation: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday at New Prospect Baptist Church
Officiating: Rev. Michael Gantt
