Bethany Johnson Preston 31, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. Born in Cleveland County on January 13, 1982, she was the only daughter of Benita Johnson of Shelby NC and Craig Lindsey of Decatur Georgia.  She graduated from High School in 2000; Graduated at Isothermal College with LPN degree and Cleveland Community College Nursing Program degree with honors. Bethany worked at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain as Baylor Supervisor for many years.  She also worked at Bayada Home Health Care as Clinical Case Manager where she was loved by all who knew her and received. She was presented with a plaque of appreciation and bouquet of flowers along with a visit from President Mark Baiada and Director Ann Baiada for her exceptional care and kindness to clients and co-workers alike.

Bethany was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and granddaughter. She is survived by her husband John T. Preston and two daughters: Brayden, and Kadence and son: Trevor; grandparents Earnest and Peggy Johnson; Aunts: Tiffany Johnson, Tracie Sawyers and Caryn White and one Uncle: Andy Johnson which was like brother and sisters to her.  We would also like to acknowledge special friends: JoAnn Lankford and Joe Seidel and family of Bayada Home Health Care.

Her family acknowledges Cleveland Regional Hospital and Hospice for their care and compassion.

VISITATION and FUNERIAL SERIVE:  Held at Cecil Burton Funeral Home in Shelby NC. We will be receiving friends from 2:00 to 3:00 and the funeral service will be held at 3:00. Officiated by Kathryn Spangler, Chaplin of Hospice.

Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery in Fallston, NC.
