Betty Areleacy Evans, 48, of 407 Fredrick Street, Shelby, passed away on Monday, March 2nd, 2020 at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte.

Born in Lincoln County, on December 16th, 1971 , she was the daughter of the late Henry Curtis Allen and Judy Ann Philbeck Allen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Evans.

Survivors include one daughter, Judith Grant and husband Dustin of Shelby; grandson, Ivan Grant; one sister, Dorothy Edwards and husband Wayne of Cherryville and their children, Damon and Johnathan; half sister, Ashley Allen of Stanley and her children, Alexis, Jesus and Jose; best friend Nancy Reavis. Also surviving is her boyfriend Daniel Gragg.
