Blacksburg--Mrs. Betty Gilfillan Leagan, 82, of 557 Leagan Drive passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her home.

Born in Hickory Grove, SC, she was the wife of the late Charlie William Leagan and daughter of the late Sam and Grophie Childers Gilfillan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Syble Blanton.

Mrs. Leagan was of Baptist faith, loved the outdoors, doing yardwork, and taking care of her dog.

Mrs. Leagan is survived by one son, Marvin Leagan (Jenna); two daughters, Gail Whelchel and Angelia Leagan Holden (Larry); two brothers, Kent Gilfillan and Eddie Gilfillan; two sisters, Vonnie Gordon and Brenda Moss; two grandchildren, Heather Butler and Dana Kirby; and two great-grandchildren, Conner Kirby and Jesse Lyons.

Services will be private.
