Betty Jane Wood Ramsaur went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 14, 2021. She was born in Cleveland County on August 14, 1931, the daughter of the late Dora and Cecil Wood of Lawndale, NC. She was a graduate of Piedmont High school and Howard Business College and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Shelby. She enjoyed special times with family and friends and loved working with her flowers.

Betty is survived by her husband of 70 years, Eddie Ramsaur, her daughter Gwen Smart, her granddaughter Carrah Smart and her husband Josh, all of Shelby. Betty is also survived by her brother John Wood and his wife Glenna of Polkville, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00am, Friday December 17, 2021 at the Webb Chapel of First Baptist Church in Shelby, NC with the Rev. Tony Tench officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will take place at Cleveland Memorial Park.

Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
